This is Potter's notes on architecture, which would have a direct impact on set building. The importance she places on the architecture itself shows her diligence in recreating the world of Orlando correctly. With quote.

the first paragraph talks about the coloring and specifically lighting of sets.

It is important to remember that the house is a base for the novel and Orlando, although he looses it due to his sex change, she does return to it. The architectural bases of it is key in how this (arguably) and the Oak tree are together the plant of the novel which spans over years... the poem for example.

This is another sketch of Orlando's bedroom (her his English manor house), It will be interesting to compare this to the final iamges fromt he film, but also to find out where Potter got her interpretation of Orlando's room from.
